Art Activities To Do With Kids

Friday Fun Day here on the Blog!  On Fridays, as we go into the weekend, we share stories on activities to do with the kids on the weekend (& beyond!)

Love this story about Mom, Kate, who takes her twins all over the Big Apple Art Scene, Galleries, Art Installations, Murals & more!  Kate was an avid-gallery visitor and art enthusiast. She grew up with a Mother who was an Artist and Kate didn’t want to lose this hobby and passion when she had kids so she introduced art to her kids. After taking some photos of her twins enjoying art, she decided to create an Instagram account to document her family’s memories and adventures. You can find these 5 year olds on their fun Instagram Feed @Little Twins Big Apple.

Love seeing at all the adventures she takes the twins on!  It’s so great to expose and teach kids about a variety of activities, like art. Kate (& the twins) are such an inspiration. I completely relate to Kate with art and creativity exposure, like we talked about when transforming a bar cart into aCreative Craft Cart for kids!  So, great to bring that art in the home too. As we talked about before on the Blog, one of my absolute favorite Artists is Kerry Rosenthal.  That happy and playful smiley face makes me smile every time!
