Lucky Charms Cereal Sweet Treats Round Up

As a kid I loved the month of March because it was the month of the McDonald’s Shamrock Shake!  Like I was talking about with our last Post - what we wear makes an impact and creates memories in our childhood - food is very much the same thing.  We have memories attached to the food we love and had as a child.  Literally, every Saturday in March (& beyond) me and my mother would go to the hair salon and after her hair was done, we would go to McDonalds for lunch and a Shamrock Shake!  Love that they still make them and carry on the tradition!

My diet is much different now as an adult.  I have primarily a plant based lifestyle.  But, everything in moderation, right!?  You have to indulge every now and then!   So, in the spirit of March, Shamrocks Shakes and St. Patricks Day, I thought we would do a round up of some Lucky Charms Treats you can make with the kids.  I have talked before about baking with kids and using easy recipes when baking with kids.  Any of these recipes below would be great to do with the kids!

Lucky Charm Cereal Treats:

Eden from Sugar & Charm makes Ice Cream with Lucky Charms!

Sally from Sally’s Baking Addiction makes both Lucky Charms Bark (Only 3 Ingredients and one of them is my all-time favorite sprinkles from Sweetapolita!) and White Chocolate Lucky Charms Treats.  (I tried Sally’s frosting recipes YEARS ago and I have never looked back!  Her frosting recipes are the only ones I make now.  She has so many variations and flavors and they are all amazing.  (When I do kids food styling shoots with cupcakes and cakes I always use real frosting in the recipes not the “tools of the trade” recipes used in traditional food styling.)  Although I do a lot of other food styling techniques. ;)

Lucky Charms Cake from Nails and Fails.

Lucky Charms Cannolis from Paper and Stitch.

Kelly from Studio DIY is so creative!  Try her Cereal Bowl Cake  (made with Fruit Loops, but you can easily substitute in Lucky Charms) and her Milk Shake.

Serene, from House of Yumm, Lucky Charms Milkshake recipe!

Check out the Lucky Charms Site for their own (magically delicious ;) ) fun recipes too.

Other Cereal Treats . . .

Cereal Candy Bar (& look at all these other yummy options!)  Seriously?, they had me at Gourmet Apple Pie Chocolate Bar! ;)

From Ice Cream and Bakery Shop, Milk Bar, this Cereal Ice Cream Sandwich

Or . . . .you can just get the Lucky Charm Marshmallows or these marshmallow Bits

Have a great March & celebrate with some "magically delicous" ;) treats!

Be Playful!

Bonnie ~
