Plant Over Processed Lifestyle


I Just recently discovered Andrea  Hannemann (known as @earthyandy on Instagram) and her new book Plant Over Processed.  I just had to share her website!   She lives on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii with her three adorable boys and husband.  On her website she shares her health journey, recipes & tips and resources.  Such a beautiful website - everything looks amazing.  The first recipe I tried is the Glow Girl beet smoothie.  It's so good & ya know I love the color of the drink too - so pretty! ;)  



I completely relate with Andrea.  I also eat a plant based diet with 2 smoothies a day (one fruit in the morning and vegetable later in the day)  Eating a mostly plant based diet completely changes the way you feel.  I would say I am 80%  plant based - I'm not perfect.  Because, you know  . . . there’s mac and cheese!  I eat clean during the week and have some “cheat” meals on the weekends.  When I “fall off that wagon” - I definitely feel it.  I also write in a journal every day (both workout and food) which definitely keeps me on track . . . cause I really don’t want to write . . . I ate 3 candy bars, funny how that works, huh - writing in a journal does help.  I have used this food and exercise journal for over 15 years now. (It’s a 12 week journal)  I have totally lost count on how many of these I bought!

Andrea's book is such a great resource for those just starting a plant based program or have been eating plant based.  And . . .  the photography and images are gorgeous . . . as a photo stylist, ya know I'm lovin' the images.
